It was very windy on the plot today so I spent some time in the greenhouse with my cucumbers and flowers.
In the greenhouse its time to plant the tomatoes and outside to take the first harvests.
The greenhouse is starting to look empty as I plant the cucurbits (cucumber, courgettes, melons, squash) into their final growing positions in the garden along with the celeriac; plus a tip when growing onions.

It’s finally raining after 12 weeks of sunshine!
The Potatoes, v. Red Duke of York, in the greenhouse have been growing for 12 weeks now but the supplier claims that they can be harvested as early as 10 weeks. So let’s have a look at what I’ve got.
It looks like the last frost has now passed so it’s time to plant out the Runner Beans, v. Firestorm.
