Detecting the first signs of black fly on Broad Beans (Fava Beans)

Blackfly won’t harm the crop but it will reduce the amount you harvest. The first sign of blackfly arrive is an increase in ant activity on the broad beans. A way of stopping blackfly is by removing the growing tips.
