VARIETIES

  • Boltardy: Smooth-skinned roots of fine colour,Beetroot Boltardyare ideal for exhibition. Resistant to bolting and recommended for early sowing. (Globe or Round type.) RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Recommended by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany. [Sutton Seeds]

SOWING

Sow directly where they are to grow, 1in deep, or in the greenhouse in modules of compost.

PLANTING

If growing in modules, pop the plug plants into their final growing positions.

Companion Planting

Prefers to be planted with Cabbages, Lettuces, Onions and Kohl Rabi.
