Helping a Neighbour

Despite the rain we carried on working. Today my allotment neighbour was building a shed so I lent a hand. I had some greenhouse staging that I no longer wanted so passed it on to her. We didn’t stop as we fought against the wind and rain to build it. A jolly good time was had by all. Rusty popped by to check on the works but preferred to watch from the warmth of his shed bed – wise cat. The instructions on how to built it were truly shocking and took longer to erect due to this fact.

  1. Sean, good job. It’s always a good gesture to help those in need especially close to home. The neighbors on my street where I live are very helpful for each other. It’s a good way to end your time there on the allotment. Rusty is going to miss your shed sanctuary when you leave.

Have a a great rainy construction day.

  2. Don’t we love to lend a hand as well as we love receiving help. Good neighbours make short work.
