Organic Gardening Bible by Bob Flowerdew

Mention the name Bob Flowerdew and you think Mr Organic. Bob’s enthusiasm and love for all things organic is reinforced in his latest book, Bob Flowerdew’s Organic Gardening Bible.

With the advent of internet blogs the role of the book has become less important for many people but this book is packed from cover-to-cover with personal hints and tips from Mr Organic.

Always with a love of the environment and nature at the forefront of his thinking, Bob covers numerous topics on how we can all work with nature rather than against it. Vegetables, herbs, flowers, fruit, wildlife, salads, harvesting, storing, pest and disease control are all covered in this 270 page bible.

“Whereas a few decades ago organic, biodynamic and natural gardening was ignored entirely or regarded almost as an aberration, it has now become mainstream. Questions on BBC Radio Four’s Gardeners Question Time were once dominated by such questions as ‘What should I spray for this problem?’. Now, few pose questions in this way and many specify they are looking for a greener answer.” Bob Flowerdew.
